fishbowl

I do like blogging. But, it also has its drawbacks. Namely, it's a bit like being in a self-created fishbowl, on view to the world. At first, I wasn't terribly bothered by the idea, but as more people are reading this, I've become somewhat more sensitive and self-conscious about what and how I write. I realize that this semi-exhibitionism is part and parcel of having a public presence on the web. Nevertheless, it's a bit uncomfortable at times. All that considered, the rewards of blogging are numerable, thus I'll keep on. Oh, and I have, surprisingly, found reader comments to be rather quite affirming, so I invite you to chime in.
