The holes in the heart remind me of a quadruple bypass or whatchamacall it when the insert the metal thing to stretch the blood tube back open again.But other than that amusing association, it's pretty. And given that it's hard to get hearts right (without being, you know, over the top 8 year old girl-ish), that's a good compliment.
quadruple bypass. I like that! adds a whole new layer of meaning to the piece. that's what's so great about getting feedback on my art -- it makes the meaning more rich, complex, and collaborative.
