That metal item near the bottom of the collage is one of a sizable assortment of rusty pieces of hardware I acquired from my father, who had been saving them for decades. Lucky me! I love how the vertical lines of the metal piece (which I think is used to join two pieces of wood, such as in the corner of a frame) is repeated in the horizontal lines in the background. And the simple color scheme of brown, orange, and blue is oddly pleasing.
