The background is one of my ubiquitous tea bag compositions. I've also included a piece of the Arabic Christian religious tract I found on the ground in Santa Barbara and which I burned with an incense stick (Blaspheme!). The black paper with a white design was a scrap I acquired at an art workshop. That large red bit is actually a piece of paint that I peeled off a pillar at a gas station in Silverton, CO. I couldn't resist its texture and color, and the provenance makes it even more intriguing. Finally, the blue and red vintage buttons were acquired in an antique store in Silverton, CO. I especially love how the original thread is still connected to the red button.
