Many theorize that color has a psychological dimension, that different colors have their own meanings, moods, and associations.
Blue, for example, is often considered to have calm and soothing characteristics. For LOTS more about the color blue, go here.
There are also some who claim that we each have our own personal colors, which define or flavor our personalities.
One such person, Pamala Oslie, who happens to live here in SB, believes that we all have auras of varying colors. Those colors say something significant about who we are. Pamala claims that she can actually see people's auras, but you can also determine your aura colors by taking a test.
I've taken the test a few times now, and I've had my aura read by Pamala in person, and I'm always a blue.
Blues are some of the most loving, nurturing and supportive personalities of the Life Colors. They live from their heart and emotions. Their purpose for being on the planet is to give love, to teach love and to learn that they are loved. Their priorities are love, relationships, and spirituality. (Pamala Oslie)
I'm not sure I can totally get on board with the whole aura thing, but I'll tell you, it was spooky how accurate Pamala's reading of me was.
Anyway, what sparked off this little foray into color was a silly little color preference test.

I'm a Tan. But then, anyone who knows me could tell you that. I scored 8 for Logical Tan, 7 for Sensitive Tan, 6 for Environmental Tan. (All the others, inc. abstract tan, were 1-3) So, in other words, I'm linear/logical/detail oriented and I recharge alone but I'm emotionally open.
I never did get my aura read by that woman but I really enjoyed your and your husbands' stories about the experience.
