Stardust

I enjoyed this one immensely. It's a fantasy, love story, epic, fairy tale, and comedic adventure. I was taken in by the plot and the cast, and I loved watching the transformation of the main characters. Charlie Cox, on whom I now have a massive crush (he reminds me of my first boyfriend in high school), plays the role of the delightful hero, Tristan Thorne. He is, convincingly, the glue that holds the varied elements of the story together. The film has loads of great characters who drew me in to their magical world. I definitely think it's worth a trip to the theater. [If you'd like a more elaborate synopsis, read Eric Snider's review.]

love love love this film and the book too (by Neil Gaiman - who wrote the Sandman comic books: he basically saved the comic industry and made it cool again to read and collect them)- Simone and I saw it in NY during a crazy summer storm.
