Sexuality. Elimination. Food consumption. Menstruation. I guess just about the only part of natural body functioning that major religious groups DON'T attempt to shame or control is breathing.
I wonder if there's a correlation between (1) our Puritanical roots leading to inhibited sexuality and (2) our high incidence of obesity and violence.
