Mediterranean Mosaic: Tuscany

Our first excursion on our 20-day cruise was to magical Tuscany. On May 30, 2008 we docked in Livorno, Italy. From there our remarkable guide, Peppe, transported us on a breathtaking, albeit brief, tour of Florence, Sienna, and San Gimignano. Each was spectacular, deserving of far more time than we could devote to any one place. We simply got a taste, and a yearning to return.

Are you so smart that words like "verdant" are actually IN your vocabulary, or do you get a little help from the thesaurus on the sly?
