This blurry scan doesn't do justice to this little collage, which consists of my beloved tea-stained paper towels, part of a tea bag, some reddish origami paper, some green security envelope paper, and a torn piece of paper from a math textbook. But the focal element is the electrical wire, whose exposed gold, red, and green wiring echoes the colors of the paper throughout the collage. I'm still not sure, though, if it needs something in the upper left corner to balance the elements. It's always a challenge, determining when a work of art is "finished."

3.5" x 2.5" / $5.00
Note to self: consider composing poetry to accompany collages.

I've been thinking about this several days and I find my favorite part is still the accounting page or periodic table of elements or whatever the white background strip is.
Something in my brain lights up with excitement around the structure of such forms.
