I can't quite decide whether I like this collage or not. I like the individual elements -- the abalone shells, the coffee filters, and the painted sheet of German text. The echoing arcs are pleasing, too. So I'm not sure if it's the color palette or something else that doesn't do it for me. Whatever it is, I can't put my finger on it.

1st hit: I LOVE the repeating arches.
2nd hit: After reading your commentary I looked at it again and it reminded me of the lines of a human ear.
