Hi Nancy! Just popped onto your blog to check in. To add to the Japanese language discussion. Japanese writing is a combination of Kanji, (Chinese characters), Hiragana (for syllables of words of Japanese origin), and Katakana (for syllables of foreign words). Now if only I knew how to read it...LOL..
