Here's another one of my favorite wedding photos, of Alex and me with our wedding party. Left to right: Janet, Heather, Chris, Nancy, Alex, Bill, Ben, Max, Cate.
We decided that everyone in our wedding party, regardless of gender, would wear a black suit with matching lavender ties. Despite our worries that we might look like a drag show, it really worked. They all looked remarkably sharp in their matching attire. The uniformity resulted in a unity that didn't appear contrived or campy at all. Plus, I was relieved of the much more difficult task of trying to coordinate three dresses for three women, only one of whom actually wears dresses. I'm so glad the attire turned out as it did. Looking good, guys!

You forgot to mention that Max, the officiator (?) of the ceremony, wore a penguin tie JUST FOR YOU!
