I think I've made good use of a piece of worn sandpaper for the background here. Also employed are part of a tea bag, a corner of a paper towel, some German text, and a few other random bits of paper.
Well, not exactly random. Very little of my collages are random other than that they often incorporate objects I randomly come across in the world. Otherwise, they are all fairly intentionally composed and constructed. While they may look haphazard, they are really rather carefully and laboriously put together. True, some pieces come into being in a matter of minutes, but most take hours, if not days, to create. Hence, each is quite uniquely and consciously made.

looks great!
thanks!
Sometimes when a candy bar crumble made of chocolate drops on my clothes but half melts before I notice and wipe it away, it looks a lot like that brown splotch.
Doesn't happen often, but it has.
