Mom's computing update

Well, she loves it, her pretty little white laptop with the apple on the cover. However, she has a long way to go to reach proficiency. But we did get in a few useful training sessions -- in between movies and meals out -- that covered the basics: turning it on and off; using the email program; using the internet; printing and copying; and using the dictionary. As with all of us, though, the key is practice and persistence, and we (my siblings and I) are all hoping that she will partake of both, especially while the learning curve is so steep. Needless to say, I was deeply satisfied to receive an email from Mom when I returned home! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there will be many more to come.
