there's hope

Alex has been spending multiple hours, on multiple days, sorting, purging, and re-organizing his collection of "papers." This mass of at least 25 banker's boxes includes stuff he's saved for decades: receipts, bank statements, bills, school notes, owner's manuals, photos, memorabilia, paycheck stubs, and practically anything else you can imagine. He is sorting all this material into 3 categories: save, toss, shred. I expected the save pile to be huge, but he's actually doing a remarkable job of letting go. So far, he has weeded through at least 6 full boxes and has produced almost as many bags of trash and recycling. I'm impressed, and thoroughly pleased by his progress. Keep up the good work, Alex!

To be continued...
