art in the park

Yesterday I set up a table with my art in the park next to the train station in Monte Vista. It was worth it, as I sold three of my art cards and two mini easels. Equally rewarding was the opportunity to network with other local artists, all of whom were welcoming and supportive. In fact, I decided to join the local arts organization called the Monte Arts Council (MAC). Soon I'll be listed on the site as one of the members. It's so nice to find other artists and art supporters in the area. I intend to get involved as much as possible.
