small paintings

These three 6" x 6" canvases have finally made it to my blog.
I've listed them in order of my own preference.

If I were to choose one, meaning my favorite of the three, it'd be the middle one.

But I'd rotate it clockwise by one turn, and then the blue would be like a lake and the brown like a mountain and the white like the sky.

I know that's super-imposing a lot of representation on an abstract painting... yet & still...

To be honest, given your results, I can't help but hope you take more painting classes.

Your work is in an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT category from the less-than-mediocre representational pieces which scream "homemade" at Goodwill & garage sales.

It's funny, your comment about the middle piece, because I actually painted it the way you like it. Because it turned out to be a landscape, I decided to post it sideways, just to make it look more abstract. But really, it can be viewed and hung however a person most likes it.

And thanks, your comments are motivating and encouraging!

Dude! I had the "eyes to see" a landscape incognito as an abstract!

If I had any education at all about art, I wouldn't be nearly as pleased with myself as I am about this right now.
