Marguerite "Peggy" Arnold
January 2, 1932 -- April 1, 2016
Marguerite “Peggy” Arnold died on Friday, April 1, 2016 in
Alamosa, Colorado. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter and her
generosity.
Peggy was born in San Francisco, California on January 2,
1932 to Larry and Margot Bulkley. She spent her childhood in Pasadena,
California where she attended and graduated from Westridge School for Girls.
Peggy, a long-time resident of the Monterey Peninsula, CA, was
well known to many local bridge players. She played the game enthusiastically
for many years. She lived locally in Carmel Valley. She later lived at Del Mesa
Carmel before going on to Colorado.
She enjoyed the last four years of her life living at The
Bridge at Alamosa where she frequently played Bingo and board games with her
friends.
Her family is grateful to the staff at The Bridge and
Evergreen Nursing home in Alamosa for their excellent care of Peggy in her
final years and days.
Peggy is survived by her younger brother, Edward “Ned”
(Tish) Bulkley of McCall, Idaho, and by her children, John (Barbara) Greenway
of Carmel Valley, CA, Catherine (Dennis) Lincoln of Blairsden, CA, Nancy (Alex)
Harris of Monte Vista, CO, and Christopher (Jamie) Arnold of Carmel Valley, CA.
She had four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her parents, Larry and Margot Bulkley and brother, Peter Bulkley.
